Erm, Hello and nice to meet you. I am one of the Administrator of MapleWiki. Although I am not the founder of MapleWiki, i do wish that MapleStory Wikia merges with us as they provide the versions. The only thing needed to be removed is: advertising for other games. As for the letting people edit without logging in, i allow it because I will punish them accordingly if they vandalised One of these. Anyway, the people editting with their IP Address here has been quite bad as some of them vandalised MapleStory Wikia. I have banned them by IP Address in MapleWiki in case they got banned here and looked for another MapleWiki. Anyway, the founder of MapleWiki has 2 websites, MapleTip and MapleWiki. He is never online on MapleWiki, so you'll have to merge with us rather than us merging with you.

P.S. I am only 10 years old and I am living in a timezone whose difference is very big compared to yours, around 8-10 hours.

[edit] Google gives Liberapedia bad publicity

Several times today I logged into Google and searched for Liberapedia.

• Old Liberapedia consistently comes top of the list in page 1 of Google. Old Liberapedia has on its Main Page, “Please note you are viewing an archive version of Liberapedia, the site has now moved to Wikia” and, “This site has moved to a new location. See Liberapedia:Move FAQ”. This hardly creates a good impression.
• The second on the list on page 1 of Google is, Uncyclopedia’s Liberapedia article.

The Uncyclopedia article ridicules Liberapedia and the administrators.

• New Liberapedia comes third on the list from Google.

New Liberapedia run by Wikia is the most important Liberapedia web-site now. Therefore I feel New Liberapedia should come top when users search for Liberapedia. I’ve tried to contact Google but I don’t know how to. In any case I feel Wikia has more influence. Hi Angela I'm user Rod12 I run the Green Arrow site and I also work and do editing on DC Database, Batman, Aquaman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Smallville and Superman and thats just the web sites related to DC Comics but my message is more about the Green Lantern and The Flash sites the creators of both those sites have both not been on in a long time and more two the point the creator of The Flash site I don't remember the last time seeing him on his website editing and doing general wikia work to the other related Wikia sites above and what I'm asking is another user and I the user is Doomlurker have both agreed and wanted to adopt that one sites if they are put up for adoption or if some other reason occurs he has a agreed he would take The Flash site and I would help out. We both want these sites to improve and get better if the creators for both of them don't want to run it anymore or simply don't have time anymore we would both like to take over control because we both work together each on are separtly run sites together I help out with his Batman and Aquaman and he helps out with my Green Arrow. So if you could help me and user Doomlurker solve this issue by letting us adopt those sites that would be great. All these events started with the basic fact that both of us notice when we were editing or simply trying to contact those creators they were doing nothing or comming on once in a blue moon here and there well thats it I hope you can help and talk to you later and if you want you can post the message on my talk page on the Green Arrow site.

I'm a sysop over at Halo Fanon Wikia and recently found that the wikia actually has two IRC channels, one was a defunct mistake, one is the 'official' IRC. I checked the ops list on this defunct channel, #Wikia-Halofanon, you appear to be the only person with operator access. I talked to wikia and freenode staff about it being removed and it apparently needs to be empty for a certain period of time. However there are people, random flamers and misdirected members who are loitering in there. Can you give me access rights on the channel so I can set it to invite only and let it die quietly. [edit] Gundam Wiki adoption request

Hi Angela Well basically im sending this request due to the inactivity of many of the Gundam wikia admins. The last active edit was April 8 2008. I would like to adopt this wikia as to keep the main page information up to date.
I have been member for almost a year with about 300 contributions, i would have contributed more but was balancing studies and contributions. I would like to form a new admin group to maintain the information accuracy and stop vandalism.
As there are a few users still active i have discussed with some of them and it seems to not be a problem.
I have contacted the admin on his user page and has not replied and he has blocked his email so i can not contact him.
I would like to thank you in advance if you allow me to adopt this wikia. If not I understand and would like to thank you for considering the possibility.

Hi Angela,

I am interested in adopting the inactive wikia "RoWikicity". I am currently active on both the English and Dutch version of this site, as a bureaucrat. The Romanian version needs an update and is abandoned. I am willing to do an effort to make it active again, and make it revive. I have already made several hundreds of edits on that wikia and I would have liked to become moderator, to be able to delete unnecessary pages and to manage the site in a better way. Is this possible?

The wiki IS inactive and was opened by adoption by its admins, I have NEVER vandalized on ANY wiki, I speak little Romanian but that can't prevent me from bringing the wiki to live again, I'm blocked because the admin who left just doesn't like me - there is no true reason for that block, there are no users at the time and I'm willing to work on that, and at last: what I've done there sure was related; they appreciated my work at that time and I've brought prosperity to a certain part of the site. I believe the "MediaWiki:Blog snippet" is malfunctioning on Wiki 24. The top of Wikia TV Blogs is displaying an embarrassingly old snippet from our wiki: it says we're racing to cross 2,500 articles, but we're already past 3,000. Nothing I have done is removing this old snippet! The newest one is strangely displayed below the old one. If you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it, since User:Bhadani, the only other Staffer who edited it, seems to be on hiatus.

We might have a solution. Currently almost all people on nation are Dutch and speak low-level English. Nation is a kingdom with a dictatorial king (he's the sole bureaucrat and all other admins are his best friends or even his brother) At least 15 active people want the kingdom to become a republic but if they come into action they are blocked (even if you speak Romanian it is no exception you'll get a two weeks block by the king, or if you declare the town you have created yourself indepent, though there is no law forbidding it, you can expect a three months block) It is also only allowed to write in American English, because otherwise you can expect a warning and maybe even a block (if you write in Brittish English 'ou' instead of 'o') I've spoken to a few people about how to solve this problem and we might have a solution. The problem is, that I'm not sure about Wikia's policy. In Wikimedia it's forbidden to start simple english projects, but what is the wikia policy about it? If we should set up simple.nation.wikia.com a lots of blocks and problems can be gone. (ofcourse the wiki should be in simple english then) So, is this a possible solution? --OWTB 07:57, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Hello, Eulalia459678 told me to ask this to Angela, and I assume that is you. Maybe about a week ago I pretty much adopted the Guardians of Ga'Hoole Wikia. I'm not sure if it is a real adoption, but it would be nice if it is. There hadn't been an edit in about a month, and I made a reconstruction program. Hello, I'm Grace C. Infinity in Korean Mabinogi Wikia. I have two requests.

Primarily, could you change the SITENAME($wgSitename) for ko.mabinogi.wikia.com to "마비노기 위키아" (Hangul)? Currently it's "Korean Mabinogi Wiki :: 마비노기 위키아" (Alphabet, colon, and Hangul). The reason to hope that is current SITENAME is too long and I cannot write any our project article because Mediawiki confuses colon(:).

Secondarily, could you change the Forum Namespace to "포럼"/"포럼토론" (Hangul)? Currently it's "Forum"/"Forum talk" (Alphabet).

[edit] Abuse of an inactive wiki

There has been a chronic problem with Zachary Jaydon, who creates false articles about himself in various wikis. He has been deleted from English wikipedia as a fraud, and from Simple wikipedia as well. Now, he has created the same article on an obscure Wiki, JoJo's Bizarre Encyclopedia, at http://jjba.wikia.com/wiki/Zachary_Jaydon. I requested deletion, but, since the wiki is dead, nothing happened. I replaced that page with a pointer to the deletion discussions on other wikis, but he noticed. I know I can't expect you to create a warning page on faith, but can you at least get someone to delete the article and prevent it from being recreated? It pops up as the first search entry on Google, and it is apparent that he uses these pages to help him deceive people into believing that his industry experience is much broader and better than it actually is.190.4.72.45 01:18, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
