Wikia - creating communities

Wikia are wiki communities creating free content with the MediaWiki software. These are hosted for free by Wikia, Inc., the company which runs the project.

Other projects hosted by Wikia, Inc. include ArmchairGM, Memory Alpha, Uncyclopedia, and some Kennisnet wikis. These projects are sister projects of Wikia. Sister projects of Wikia may be edited under licenses not compatible with the GFDL. The same terms of use apply to ArmchairGM, Memory Alpha and Uncyclopedia, and a modified form for the Kennisnet wikis, which are not advertising-supported.

Shared user accounts exist throughout Wikia, Memory Alpha, and ArmchairGM, but not currently for Uncyclopedia or the Kennisnet wikis.
