Kennisnet
Wikia - creating communities
Twenty six (January 2007) Dutch-language wikis are hosted by Wikia on behalf of Kennisnet, the Internet organization for primary, secondary and professional education in the Netherlands.
The Kennisnet wikis are not Wikia wikis, but are Wikia sites hosted by special arrangement with Kennisnet and not supported by advertising. Instead, they are sister projects of Wikia. These wikis do not share a user database with other Wikia sites, and a separate login is required to edit them. The wikis are administered by Marjon Bakker.
The first Wikia-hosted Kennisnet wiki was launched on 3 October, 2005.

- A games-related educational site is available at games2learn.nl. Launched 16 October 2006
- Wikikids
- An encyclopedia for children is available at wikikids.nl. Launched 12 March 2006
- Demo Wiki
- This wiki can be used to demonstrate how wiki's work during workshops and lectures. Launched 15 March 2006
- Begrippen BVE-sector
- A wiki that will be used for discussing definitions used in adult education. Launched 9 November 2006
- TechComm
- A website aimed at students following courses in technical education and engineering. Launched 11 November 2006
