Future is a wiki that aims to develop future forecasts (using scenarios, timelines, etc.), and to write speculative articles on future topics.
YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO CONTRIBUTE because everyone has a future of one's dreams, an idea of what the future will hold. So please take some time to contribute, or at least to see our articles. It is after all, the Future. So many things to do... Who wouldn't be optimistic?
- Write and edit articles on topics ranging across five Areas of the future: biology, electronics, engineering, sociopolitical, and spacecraft;
- Write the futuristic scenario that represents your vision of what the future will be like;
- Attend our futurology school--it's filled with articles on how to forecast the future;
- Freely exchange ideas and challenge the assumptions and predictions of others; and
- Write futuristic fiction (if you're a fan of future-fic, such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Spacecraft, and the like)
The wiki's logo is a combination of a nanogear and the DNA molecule, which signifies the importance of nanotech and biotech. The "[[ ]]" brackets show that it's a wiki.
